The brand, which is developed by Limerick-based family business Complete Cuisine, plans to open 10 other units in the next 18 months which are expected to create over 60 jobs.

Complete Cuisine has been developing the Nom Nom Subs franchise concept since 2011 and has invested over 500,000 euro in the creation and development of the brand and the selection of its menu items.

"With so many international brands coming to our shore we decided that in the current economic climate we wanted to develop a 100% Irish franchise which would contribute to the Irish economy to help in creating and sustaining employment,” said Dermot Hanrahan, sales director of Complete Cuisine who developed the brand.

Nom Nom Subs offers gourmet hot sub sandwiches to-go at branded restaurants or store-in-store locations throughout Ireland.
