Tesco’s F&F opens first franchise stores in Europe

F&F has opened seven franchise stores in Switzerland and two in Gibraltar. The company plans to open more in the upcoming months.

F&F, Tesco’s clothing line, said in the middle of October 2013 it recently opened its first franchise stores in Europe.

The new stores that opened in Switzerland and Gibraltar are in line with F&F’s agenda of becoming a leading world brand for affordable clothing, the company said.  

Including the nine new stores, F&F’s franchised units amount to 32. The company said it plans to open more in the upcoming months.

In partnership with Swiss retailer Coop, F&F has opened seven franchise stores within the area of Switzerland’s largest city, Zurich, and plans to open more across the country in the near future. In Switzerland the company has opened its first franchise units within a hypermarket.

In British overseas territory Gibraltar, in partnership with ?? Pisa International, F&F has opened another two franchises, including its first kids’ store in Europe.

F&F is expanding globally. Last year the company opened its first franchised stores is Saudi Arabia and also signed franchise contracts with partners in Central Asia and the Middle East. 

F&F, a brand of UK’s number one retailer Tesco, was launched in 2001 and currently has stores in 16 countries. It has 32 franchise units, 19 of which are stand-alone stores in Saudi Arabia.
