Annex Brands acquired Parcel Plus



Franchising.com announced that San Diego, CA-based Annex Brands, Inc. announced just few days ago the acquisition of 27 Parcel Plus® shipping franchises from Eagle Franchise Systems, Inc. and its parent company, International Center for Entrepreneurial Development® Inc. (ICED) based in Cypress, TX.

With this new addition, Annex Brands now counts to more than 450 franchises across 41 states in the United States, the District of Columbia, and Canada.

Founder, chairman and CEO of Annex Brands, Jack Lentz, said: "We are very excited to be adding this long-standing, successful brand in the pack and ship industry" This is the fifth acquisition in a row for the company since 2006. Lentz added: "The addition of Parcel Plus® increases the value for our new and our existing franchisees through increased buying power."

"We are pleased to be able to bring increased resources and assistance to help them grow their businesses even more," president and CFO Patrick Edd said. He commented that this acquisition fits the Annex Brand's vision to develop a franchising network that offers more services to more people in more places.

Steve Goble, Annex Brands' vice president of marketing communications said the newly added centers will not be required to re-brand.
