Danny”s Donuts
In 1953, Harold Butler opens Danny’s Donuts in Lakewood, California. Six years later, the company already has 20 restaurants all over the state and changes its name to Denny’s. In 1963, Denny’s started to develop its business using the franchising model and enriching the menu. Today, Denny’s over 1500 restaurant units offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and work 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, serving around 27 million customers monthly.
